The Chris 100

Another year has gone by, which means it is time to count down the greatest professional wrestlers of the 2022 calendar year with The Chris 100. The 2022 list is the biggest one I've had so far, thanks especially to a huge push of ballots in the final days of voting. Last year's list featured 40 ballots and 750 individual workers received votes. This year I received 45 ballots with 777 individual workers, despite some past voters not submitting this year. As always, I'm very grateful for the huge response from the voters, whether you're a longtime internet pal of mine, a total stranger, or anyone in-between. Special thanks to brendan durant for once again submitting some fabulous artwork to serve as the banner artwork for this year's list. Before I start the countdown, let's meet the voters and see how many of them put "my asshole" when asked if they'd like to plug anything: Name Twitter Handle Anything you'd like to plug? Welcome to the inaugural edition of #TheChris100, a.k.a. the Forearm Smash 50. With Concrete Sam halting the We Don't Know Wrestling 100 this past year, I wanted to make sure people had a wrestler of the year poll to vote in if they wanted to do that sort of thing. With Sam's blessing, I launched this project. 26 different wrestling fans submitted ballots of 50 wrestlers each for this list to happen. In future years I plan to introduce specific awards as well as expand ballots to 100 wrestlers for those that want to submit 100 names, but in a year like 2020 I thought it would be good to start with 50 people on the ballots.
